Rome Man Charged After Flooding Holding Cell

A Rome man is charged with riot in a penal institution after flooding the holding cell.

According to Floyd County Jail Reports, 53-year-old Kenneth Douglas Jarrell allegedly purposely flooded the holding cell.

He is also charged with obstruction, public drunk, and battery.

 

 

Rome Man Arrested on Aggravated Assault Charge

A Rome man was booked into the Floyd County Jail Saturday on a charge of aggravated assault.

According to jail reports, 40-year-old Andrew Wayne Gentry allegedly grabbed the victim by the throat and pushed him against the wall.

He also allegedly hit another victim in the face, leaving visible injuries.

Gentry is charged with aggravated assault, battery, and cruelty to children.

 

Man Arrested for Theft By Deception

A man was arrested Saturday for theft by deception.

According to Floyd County Jail Reports, 27-year-old Jabrodski Walter Davis allegedly used deceitful means to acquire $2,046 from Heritage First Bank between January 23 of 2017 to February 7 of 2017.
