19-year old accused of stealing truck

A 19-year-old homeless man has been arrested on a felony warrant charging him with theft by taking a motor vehicle.

According to the warrant:

Joshua Kyle Spencer Lott took a 2003 Ford F150 long-bed truck from the parking lot of the Sunoco on Gadsden Road in Cave Spring.

The theft occurred on August 1, according to the warrant.

Alabama woman charged with theft by conversion

A 38-year-old Alabama woman has been booked into the Floyd County Jail on a felony theft by conversion charge.

According to the arrest warrant:

Lydia Lee Powell leased an 8×40 Stryker trailer from a local business in October of 2018 but never made the payments.

The business sent multiple letters to Powell, and even contacted her in person at her home in Livingston, Alabama, asking for the trailer to be returned.

Report: Man arrested for possessing anabolic steroids

The execution of a search warrant on Old Summerville Road ended with the arrest of a 53-year-old Rome on drug charges.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

David Wayne Sprayberry was found in possession of anabolic steroids and more than an ounce of marijuana packaged for resale.

He is charged with possession of a Schedule III controlled substance, felony possession of marijuana, and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.

Man facing drug charges from May

A man who reportedly ran from Rome-Floyd Metro Task Force officers during the execution of a search warrant on Porter Street back on May 19 has been arrested.

According to Floyd County Jail records and an arrest warrant:

31-year-old Emilio Daman Ludy was standing in the carport area of the home where 28.3 grams of marijuana was found, along with packaging materials and a digital scale.

Traffic stop leads to drug arrest

A Rome man was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop on Redmond Road at John Maddox Drive.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Police stopped the vehicle driven by 57-year-old James Anthony Weaver for a defective brake light.

Weaver was then found with suspected methamphetamine and marijuana.
