A man arrested back on August 31 for a probation violation is now additionally charged with participating in criminal street gang activity and other felonies.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
34-year-old Dennis Randall Stanley of Rome was a member of the “Ghost Face Gangsters” when he committed a number of crimes including aggravated assault.
On July 22, Stanley and another man used a metal object to beat the victim about the face and head at a location on Woods Road.
Then in October of last year, Stanley and a co-conspirator used a cell phone to set up a drug deal with another purported gang member in West Rome.
In addition to the gang-related charges and aggravated assault, Stanley is also charged with false imprisonment, conspiracy to violate Georgia’s Controlled Substances Act, use of a communications device to commit a crime involving drugs, and a misdemeanor count of battery.
