Two charged following West Rome drug bust

A second person has been arrested following the execution of a search warrant by Rome-Floyd Metro Task Force officers on Tuesday.

According to an arrest warrant and Floyd County Jail records:

Approximately 410 grams of cocaine was found inside the Watson Street home of 41-year-old Roy Alvarado Lopez.

Digital scales and four firearms were also recovered.

Lopez is charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and possession of drug-related objects.

41-year-old Lee Jay Lopez was arrested Wednesday on the same charges.
