The following message was posted by the Rome Police Department on Wednesday afternoon regarding travel delay expectations due to the Trump Rally event on Saturday:
The “Get Out the Vote Rally” will take place at the Rome River Center in downtown Rome. Doors for the event will open at 1:00 PM, and remarks from former President Donald Trump will occur at 5:00 PM.
Travelers and event attendees should also note that finding parking areas near Downtown may prove difficult during this time.
