Another one of Floyd County’s “Most Wanted” is in custody.
17-year-old Jaquarius Cornelius Woodard shot at a man on Reservoir Street back on March 7.
Woodard is charged with aggravated assault, possession of a pistol by someone under the age of 18, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and reckless conduct.
He is the fifth person on the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office’s “Most Wanted” list to be arrested in the last two weeks.
One of those arrested, 23-year-old Chancellor Lamar Crawford, was also wanted for the same shooting, which left the victim with a bullet wound to the right arm.
According to the Rome News-Tribune, in a bond hearing on Thursday for Crawford, prosecutors described the incident as one of several in an ongoing feud between two gangs — the Cutthroat Bloods and Gangster Disciples.
With the arrest of Woodard, another name has been added to the “Most Wanted” list.
40-year old Garland Eugene Johnson is being sought on charges of aggravated assault, and obstruction of law enforcement.
