A Northeastern Floyd County woman is facing multiple drug and weapons-related charges.
According to an arrest warrant and other jail records:
On November 8, approximately four pounds of methamphetamine was discovered during the execution of a search warrant at the Thomas Bluff Road residence of 41-year-old Amanda Leigh Causey.
As Rome-Floyd Metro Task Force Officers approached, Causey left the home.
On November 12, investigators found another gram and a half of meth, and 117 grams of marijuana in the home.
43 firearms, eight of which were stolen, were also recovered.
Another search warrant was executed the same day on Fulton Road where five grams of meth were recovered along with two stolen pistols, a stolen golf cart, valued at $5,000, and a skid steer, valued at $65,000.
Causey was booked into the Floyd County Jail Monday on charges of trafficking methamphetamine, possession of meth, possession with the intent to distribute, felony possession of marijuana, 45 counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, 43 counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and 12 counts of theft by receiving stolen property.
