Police responded to a fight call on Texas Avenue in West Rome just after midnight Thursday.
According to the incident report:
A man told police his neighbor came out of his residence with a BB gun-style air rifle and shot him with it.
The man told police that the neighbor had been upset over dogs barking.
Police were unable to locate the neighbor but said warrants would be issued for disorderly conduct and shooting an air rifle in the city.
