Storms and gusty winds brought down trees and power lines overnight.
In at least one instance, a gas main break was reported.
The traffic light at Armuchee Hogh School on Hwy 27 is completely out. Officers are there helping direct traffic. Use caution when driving through the area.
There are still power outages in the area.
According to the Georgia Power Outage Map, as of 7:30 a.m., there were 38 outages in Floyd County, impacting 1,293 customers.
