The suspect in three recent armed robberies has been arrested, according to the Rome Police Department.
Two of the robberies occurred in the North Rome area, and one was in the West Rome area.
53-year-old Edward Louis Crowder was booked into the Floyd County Jail on December 22 on three counts of armed robbery, a single count of aggravated assault, and a probation violation.
Multiple tips from the public helped investigators identify and locate Crowder.
