In-person advance voting for the May 21 primary election begins Monday.
Floyd County residents can cast ballots between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on weekdays at the elections office on East 12th Street, the Anthony Recreation Center in Garden Lakes, and at the Thornton Recreation Center in Armuchee.
Saturday voting will be on April 4 and April 11 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the elections center only.
Sunday voting will be on April 12 from 1 until 5 p.m., also at the elections office.
Contested races include Floyd County Sheriff which will see incumbent Dave Roberson being challenged in the Republican Primary by Robbie Whitfield.
In the Republican Primary for Clerk of Superior Court, Mary Hardin Thornton is challenging incumbent Barbara Penson.
Four Democrats have qualified to run against Marjorie Taylor Greene for Congress.
They are Clarence Blalock, Shawn Harris, Deric Houston, and Joseph Leigh.
