A former Armuchee High School teacher has been arrested on charges related to child pornography.
According to information provided by the Floyd County Police Department, officers executed an arrest warrant on Brian Glenn Cross at his residence on Thursday morning.
Cross’ arrest is the result of a long-term investigation led by Floyd County Investigator Amber Lopez and the Investigative Division of the Floyd County Police Department.
During the course of the investigation, Cross was found to be in possession of numerous sexually explicit photos of minors.
Cross was booked into the Floyd County Jail and has been charged with Possession of Material Depicting a Minor in Sexually Explicit Conduct.
The Floyd County Police Department noted this investigation is ongoing.
