A man arrested by Cartersville Police following a shooting incident on Friday in the area of the Sandra D. Hudson Villas on East 14th Street in Rome is now lodged in the Floyd County Jail.
According to the arrest warrants:
22-year-old Jaquavious Jaquail Carter of Cartersville fired a handgun from a vehicle while he was standing up through the sunroof.
He was seen by witnesses firing the weapon in the air.
Carter is charged with discharging a firearm near a public roadway or street and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
