Rome-Floyd Metro Task Force officers arrested two people on drug charges at an apartment on Maple Avenue.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
39-year-old Clyde Edward Moore III and 37-year-old Kendra Nicole Whatley were found with multiple containers of pills, and a number of the packages were open.
They also had more than an ounce of marijuana, a firearm, packaging materials and digital scales.
Moore and Whatley are charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance with the intent to distribute, felony possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of pills not in the original container, and possession of drug-related objects.
