Man facing aggravated battery charge
A Cave Spring man was arrested at his Lyons Bridge Road residence over the weekend on a felony aggravated battery charge.
According to an arrest warrant:
40-year-old Jeremy Kenneth Lambert punched another man in the face, breaking the man’s jaw.
The incident occurred at a location on East First Street in Rome back on June 17.
Woman accused of fleeing from police
A Cave Spring woman is facing charges of fleeing or attempting to elude, hit and run, DUI, open container, improper turn and reckless driving following her arrest on Saturday.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
32-year-old Amanda Chelseanne Ledford made a wide turn at Horseleg Creek Road and Shorter Avenue, striking another vehicle.
She then left the scene.
When Ledford was located by police, she failed to stop and fled at a high rate of speed.
An open container of beer was found in the vehicle.
Man charged with meth possession
A North Rome man was arrested on Cedartown Highway over the weekend on drug charges.
According to an arrest warrant and Floyd County Jail records:
42-year-old Bronson Delray Payne was in possession of methamphetamine at his Couper Street residence on June 11.
Payne is charged with possession of meth, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of drug-related objects.
Report: Man found with three pounds of marijuana during traffic stop
A Cartersville man is facing drug charges following his arrest on Highway 411 at Dodd Boulevard over the weekend.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
59-year-old Franklin Early Hardman was found with approximately three pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop.
Hardman is charged with felony possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.
Man charged with felony marijuana possession
A traffic stop for speeding and a window tint violation led to the arrest of a West Rome man on a felony drug charge over the weekend.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
29-year-old Juan Rodolpho Martinez was clocked going 55 in a 35 mile per hour zone on Garden Lakes Boulevard.
He was then found with more than an ounce of marijuana in his pocket.
Martinez is charged with possession of marijuana.
