Norfolk Southern will close the railroad crossing on Byrd Station Road on Wednesday to complete repairs and maintenance.The intersection is located in southern Floyd County between Old Rockmart Road and the Polk County line.
The closure is slated for 24 hours but could possibly be completed between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Signs should already be posted to notify drivers.
