The Floyd County Board of Education is expected to approve the millage rate when it meets on Monday.
The proposed rate is 16.75 mills, which is down from 16.818 mills.
It would be the lowest millage rate the district has set since 2001.
Also on Monday, the board will conduct a second reading of policies dealing with employee leave of absences, maternity leave, paid parental leave, and possession of weapons.
The board will hear the facilities update, go over the financial reports, and approve any changes in personnel.
The Floyd County Board of Education will caucus at 5:00 pm with the regular meeting to start at 6 at the school system’s central office on Riverside Parkway.
