The suspect in a stabbing incident was arrested following a pursuit on Tuesday.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
45-year-old William Frank Ware Jr. used a cutting device to cause serious injuries to a man during an argument at a residence on Sam Harris Road.
He also pushed a female.
Ware then fled from police at speeds of 90 miles per hour in a 35-mile-per-hour zone, passing several vehicles in a no-passing zone before exiting his vehicle and fleeing on foot in the area of Morrison Campground Road at Price Road.
Ware is charged with aggravated assault, fleeing or attempting to elude, obstruction of law enforcement, simple battery, speeding, passing in a no-passing zone, driving on the wrong side of the road, reckless driving, operation of a vehicle without a current license plate, and driving with a suspended or revoked license.
