A Rome woman recently reported the theft of a statue of a pig from her front porch in East Rome.
According to a Rome Police Department report:
The woman told officers that she had placed the professionally painted cement pig and statue of a bear on her porch for décor.
In addition to the missing pig, which the woman described as “priceless” in the report, the bear statue was knocked over and damaged.
The woman stated she heard the bear statue fall over, and when she looked out of her window, she saw a large female running away from the residence.
