One person was killed in a crash on I-75 in Bartow County late last week.
The wreck occurred on Thursday at around 11:49 p.m., two miles south of Exit 306.
According to the Georgia State Patrol:
A Dodge Ram 5500 was stopped on the left shoulder while assisting a motorist.
The driver of the Ram then attempted to back up and entered the left northbound lane.
A Toyota Camry traveling north in the left lane struck the rear of the Ram.
The impact ejected the Camry’s driver, 36-year old Esbalm Abdelkerim of Dalton, from the vehicle.
He died from injuries sustained in the crash.
